Leading by Example

There’s nothing more important in a young person’s life than having someone to look up to. Kids need to be cared about, really listened to, championed, encouraged, and shown a different way forward so that they can understand their self worth and ultimately conceive of a better future for themselves. For that reason, our staff spend a great deal of time building safe, trusted, long-term relationships with kids who, in many cases, lack for positive role models in their lives.
